Running in Memory of my Babies
We have been blessed so much despite our loss of Emma and Oliver at 23 weeks in December. We would like to pay it forward by helping Women’s and Children’s Services patients at the three Utah Valley Intermountain Healthcare Hospitals (Utah Valley Hospital, Orem Community Hospital, and American Fork Hospital) by creating a team for the Running with Angels 5K fun run. Proceeds will specifically assist Pediatric Rehabilitation and the Angel Watch Program.
Angel Watch is a free specialized program offered by Intermountain Healthcare. This program is designed to help families who have discovered that their baby may have a life-threatening or life-limiting condition through this time of uncertainty.
A team of trained professionals offers support, information, and help in designing a plan that will help families maintain hope—hope for the best possible experience now and hope for the future.
No one wants to go through what we experienced in December, but we loved and appreciated all the special moments we were able to have with our twins. Anything we can do to help others going through the same situation be able to have those special moments with their own baby is a cause near and dear to our hearts.
We have set fundraising and team member goals and would love to have your support. Help us by donating, or even better, registering for the event and joining our team. Together we can make a difference!
You can give directly to the cause by supporting our team right here online! Thank you again!
